About me...

I grew up on a council estate in Eastbourne, a middle child in a family of eight. My version of success back then meant having money to buy things I needed as well as wanted, and from my first job washing dishes in a local hotel, I used the cash I got to build my way out of a life I desperately wanted to leave behind.

Whilst starting life in employment, I soon realised I wanted to work for myself. I founded and sold a variety of businesses – in hospitality, commercial cleaning, investment and finance to high end glamping and more.

Whilst forging a successful entrepreneurial career, I pushed myself daily, like so many of us do, to achieve the success that we crave. I turned into a version of myself that I thought I needed to be.

I projected a persona that was bigger and better, suggesting life was even more awesome and more successful than it really was. And whilst to the outside world, I was successful materialistically, I wore a mask for years becoming a version of myself that I grew to dislike.

I wanted to change and knew there was more to life than the watches, cars and bigger houses – and yes, I am very aware of what a wanker that makes me sound now, but it sums up the wanker I was back then.

I was lost. Alone in a marriage that wasn’t working anymore and questioning what the rest of my life was going to look like.

And then life made the change for me…

At 40 years of age, I found myself divorced, broke, burnt out, depressed, with no business, and a life-changing heart condition. I lost everything that I loved and had worked for. My life choices had brought me to this moment, and I went from earning a healthy six-figure income to zero, and having to start again from scratch.

I had spent too many years doing whatever it took to be successful without realising the cost to my health, my relationships and myself… until one day, I couldn’t.

As I drove out my marital home for the last time, I vowed from then on to make the changes I needed, so I could be a better man. To take responsibility for who I was and who I wasn’t. I began working on myself through therapy, personal growth and exercise. Having previously trained in martial arts, I was able to find the discipline that I needed to call on. I quit the drink and drugs and focused on the things that worked for me, slowly but consistently taking small steps towards being better, healthier and living a life that was more aligned with my true self.

I even learnt how to do the human flag in 120 days for my 50th birthday.

Eleven years on, with over 200+ hours of coaching and over £80k invested in my own personal growth journey – I am an Internationally Accredited Life Coach and Mentor and I have turned my mess into my message.

I use my life experiences, learnings and skills to stop you from making the same mistakes I did.

I help men like you (like the old me) to Be Better, Live Better and Age Better, before it’s too late. If you want to know what that could look like for you, book in a call below.
